REC0VERY AND EXTRACTION
Individuals around the world are facing persecution and imminent danger as a result of their faith. Lantern Rescue works to positively identify these individuals and families with an absolute degree of certainty.
After our screening process, Lantern works with a highly-vetted network to relocate individuals and families to a location of safety–often times relocation is within the home country to increase the probability of long-term assimilation and sustainability.
In many cases, individuals are unable to leave situations of grave danger. We count it an honor to remain connected with these individuals as they continue to pursue sharing the gospel where they are.
WHAT WE DO.
INTELLIGENCE GATHERING
We identify at risk people through intelligence partners in the host country.
MONITOR AND VALIDATE REQUEST
Individuals and families request assistance directly through Lantern in-country staff. Once identified, we use proof of life, meta-tagging, and in-person interviews to increase confidence
ASSESS AND ACT
We perform a risk assessment, work to identify a safe haven that’s geographically nearby, and then safely execute the relocation. When relocation isn’t the best option, we provide resources that help them ‘lay low’ and stay out of the public eye.
DEVELOP SUSTAINABILITY PLAN
We ensure immediate needs such as food, water, and healthcare are provided. We also seek assistance from human rights groups for enhanced support. Our goal is to find a location that’s culturally similar with an existing network of family or friends who share the same faith.
