Every child deserves safety, protection, and the chance to grow up.

Sarah’s story is heartbreaking, but it is also a reminder of why we fight. Across the world, children are being targeted for horrific forms of trafficking and exploitation that too often go unseen.

But there is hope.

Through dedicated investigations, strong local partnerships, and a commitment to justice, we can hold perpetrators accountable, support grieving families, and protect other children from becoming victims.

We cannot change Sarah’s story, but we can fight to change the story for the next child.

💛 Comment LIBERATE to stand with Lantern Rescue in the fight to protect vulnerable children and pursue justice.

Predators like this don’t act once and stop. They escalate. They collect abuse material like trophies. And they grow more confident the longer they go undetected.

When investigators located him, they found hidden devices confirming the crime — along with other abuse material he’d saved. He was arrested. But it raises the question: how many others are still online right now, waiting to target the next child?

The girl was located. Her family is now getting support to help protect her. But the reality is — intervention came after the damage began.

If this makes you uncomfortable, it should. Because this is happening to children in your community right now.

That’s why Lantern Rescue is proud to support Pledge2Protect, the official call-to-action for Know2Protect®.

Online child exploitation doesn’t always look like what you’d expect — grooming, sextortion, and fake profiles are happening on the apps kids use every day.

Most people hear “CSAM” and still don’t know what it actually means.

It’s not a distant, abstract crime. It’s coercion. It’s kids being exploited for images that get traded on apps happening right now.

This is trafficking. And it’s closer than you think.

💬 Comment “PLEDGE” and we’ll send you real ways to fight child exploitation in your own community — today.

Predators don’t always need access to a child to destroy their childhood. A screen is enough.

CSAM is real abuse — recorded, sold, and passed around like a product. It’s closer to your community than you think.

Behind every number is a story.

Someone who was trafficked, and is now free.
Someone who was silenced, and is now heard.
Someone who thought no one was coming — and YOU DID.

You’re the reason they live in freedom today.

One child. Sacrificed. Every week in Uganda alone.

One child. Sacrificed. Every week in Uganda alone.

Thousands more trafficked every single year — and it doesn’t stop with the victim. Families get broken. Some don’t survive. The ones who do carry trauma that doesn’t just go away.

We’ve seen it firsthand. And we’re not looking away.

We have 7 days left to fund critical cases before the window closes. Every rescue starts with someone who refuses to stay silent.

Joy’s story did not change because of one dramatic

Joy’s story did not change because of one dramatic moment.
It changed because people kept showing up.

Donors made her Victim Care Services possible. That meant safety after trauma, education after being kept from school, stability after neglect, and a team that refused to walk away when the immediate crisis was over.

That is what your support can become.

Not just a rescue operation.
A chance to change the direction of someone’s life.
A chance to stand behind a team that will keep investigating, following up, protecting, and caring long after the first intervention.
A chance to become part of the reason someone gets another ending.

Because of this community, 16 urgent trafficking cases have already been funded.

14 remain.

And every one of those cases represents a person who deserves more than a moment of rescue. They deserve the chance for safety, justice, healing, and restoration.

💛 Comment FUEL and we’ll send you the link to help move one of the remaining 14 cases forward.

The Rescue Can’t Wait.
